On Bluesky, a photographed book page circulated. Brief lines: everyone loves transparency — is becoming cloudy really such a bad thing? Not heavy life-record but a fragment of thought; it fits book.shiroand / Field well.

Transparency here is not mere cleanness but what the present prizes: explainable, legible, contradiction-free, accountable, classifiable at once. Dashboards, logs, audit, traceability — important, yet when everything must be transparent, something is lost: mixture, what has no words yet, what breaks if explained, what sinks in memory.

Cloudiness is not dirt but mixed time, sedimented feeling, meaning not yet named. Much of what Field collects is not transparent — motherhood not pure virtue, kindness not pure goodwill, fatigue not pure despair. Human feeling that survives only in the cloud.

濁っているもの。混ざっているもの。まだ言葉になっていないもの。説明すると壊れるもの。沈殿した感情。濁りは汚れではない。混ざった時間。まだ名前のついていない意味。Fieldが拾うものの多くは透明ではない——その濁りの中にしか残らない感じがある。
