An Instagram image circulates: bedding, fans, old televisions, monitors, signage, cables, shelves, domestic clutter, neon-like light — Hong Kong as seen in film and games, packed into a bedroom. The observatory does not rehost the image. What we record is not interior design but memory compression.
The city is not outside the window. Signs, screens, noise, obsolete media, and daily objects stack around the place where someone sleeps. Urban nostalgia becomes private archive — cyberpunk, VHS, CRT, dense housing, humid air, machine heat folded into one sleeping image.
The folk pattern is city memory → domestic compression → retro media shrine → sleep inside the archive. Beside imagined yatai and Shibuya night places, this shelf is Generated-Era Urban Nostalgia: whether or not the image is AI-made matters less than how it circulates as density of remembered city, not documentary room.

Instagramの画像が流通する。布団、扇風機、古いテレビ、モニター、看板、ケーブル、棚、生活用品、ネオンのような光——映画やゲームで見た香港が、寝室に詰め込まれている。観測所は画像を再ホストしない。記録するのはインテリアではなく、記憶の圧縮である。
都市は窓の外にない。看板も、映像も、雑音も、廃れたメディアも、生活道具も、眠る場所のまわりに積み上げられる。都市ノスタルジーが私的アーカイブになる——サイバーパンク、VHS、CRT、雑居、蒸し暑さ、機械の熱が一枚の寝室に畳み込まれる。
民俗パターンは、都市記憶→ domestic 圧縮→レトロメディアの祠→アーカイブの中で眠る。想像の屋台、渋谷の夜の居場所の傍ら、この棚は生成時代の都市ノスタルジー——AI生成かどうかより、実在の記録ではなく記憶された都市の密度として流通するかが重要。
