The post is almost too short to archive: "I dust my house. My AI Robot watches." Yet the inversion is complete. The machine is not cleaning. It is not broken. It is present — as audience.
This is domestic folklore, not a product review. The robot belongs to the genre of companion and machine dream, but the labor remains human. The joke is quiet: we were told the future would free us from housework. Instead we perform the work while the automaton acquires the literary role of witness.
In observation terms, the fragment links generated companion imagery with everyday labor. The AI robot may be imagined, marketed, or half-real. What matters is the social script: who acts, who watches, who is allowed to stop.
The folk pattern is domestic labor → machine witness. It belongs beside No-AI declarations and ritual failures as a third register: not refusal, not ceremony broken, but household irony — the automaton as spectator in the room where work still happens.
